DirectX 9.0 and 3D output
Ok, I just reformatted my computer, I installed Guild Wars, but I cant play it, when I try to play it says "Unable to initialize 3D output. Please verify that you have installed DirectX8 and an updated video driver."
I installed DirectX 9.0 but I am not sure about the 3D output and the video driver. Does anyone know what is wrong or where I can get these?

Machine Specs and Graphics driver versions will be handy to determine a possible issue area.

I've got the same problem, where'd you find the updates page?

Depends what graphics card you have.
Ati - www.ati.com
Nvidia - www.nvidia.com
Then follow the driver links to get the latest driver for your card.
If you have another graphics card processor manufacturer other than those two, then you will need to look at your manual, or place it here in case someone else knows where it is.

Windows Update sometimes suggests new video drivers, as well.

Go to Control Panel, click on Windows Updates on the left, when you get to the page click "Custom Install". To the left it will give you a choice to "Review high priority updates", "Select Optional Software updates", or "Select optional Hardware updates". Choose "Select Optional Hardware updates" and then click the checkbox next to your Video Card name.
